Katherine Jo Glaves, MA, LMFT, CMHS

Hello! I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who works primarily with children under the age of 18. I am an art therapist who combines creative therapies with evidenced based practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. I have special experience with kids under the age of 12 who have behavioral problems, kids who struggle with anxiety or who have experienced trauma, and kids with autism and other related developmental conditions, including sensory challenges. I love working with parents and kids together, as I find that child therapy is more effective if parents are involved. I am also very interested in parent coaching to help parents of kids who have serious behavioral difficulties. Outside of therapy, I am a happy geek who loves to game, read, have nerf-sword battles and play with my pets (two cats, five chickens and two goats). To reach Katherine directly, call (281) 682-5556 or email.

I have experience counseling individuals, couples, families, and teens in a broad range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, grief, body image, and unhealthy relationships with food.
